We're on the road from Minneapolis, where we played last night, to sasquatch festival in Washington. The show last night was fun, it was really great to play with Anni Rossi, who stepped in last minute when the Blow and Tender Forever couldn't make it. She is really incredible. If you're reading this in England, she's coming over on tour soon with Thanksgiving and Francois, so you should go and see her. The tour dates are here:

If you go to Minneapolis you should go to Hard Times cafe for breakfast. And then you should go to the video store just down the road from Triple Rock. I bought three films for the two and a half day drive ahead - Bresson's Mouchette, Dreyer's The Passion of Joan of Arc, and Svankmajer's Alice. I also bought 9 to 5 the other day.
It was nice spending a while in Chicago, it's feels like a second home to us now. Playing two nights at the Chicago Theatre with the Arcade Fire was a really great experience, it's such a beautiful venue. Also it felt really good going back to the Empty Bottle again, we always have a really fun time there.
Toronto was nice too, Buck 65 came and rapped on one of our songs which was fun... we didn't get to spend a lot of time there but it was really sunny and breakfast tasted good.
We are all really excited about Sasquatch festival, and about getting to the west coast.
