we had good fun on these last few dates- roskilde was ace, thanks to some happy banana cake & tuborg..& luckily for us, it didnt rain the day we played & although there was lots of mud, we managed to not get messy...montreux jazz festival was amazing. we played with the beastie boys in the miles davis hall. it was kind of mind-blowing. we also had the best crepes ive ever had for breakfast..
..finally, we left the summer rains behind & landed in madrid. it felt SO hot after being in switzerland & denmark. our hotel was really far out, on the outskirts, & we had a day off, so some of us went into madrid & hung out with ros' friends...it ended up being a party & so much fun..we left just after the landlord called & ros told him where to go in spanish, not knowing who it was...oops...& my mum came to the madrid gig, which was lovely- she's a super-trouper for staying out so late...
all in all, was an ace week & the crowds were so nice/smiley/dance-y/happy- so thank you to everyone who came to see us...we cant wait to get to tokyo now, for fuji rocks...yay!
